I do not like seeing people on the streets, either walking with a backpack or parked in a business parking lot. It breaks my heart to see that there are poor when we as a society have the resources to help one another. I appreciate the things I have even more because there are others that long to have what I have. People should have a roof over their head, but not all do.
Seeing the parked mini SUV with all windows open makes me sad and brought me close to tears. I'd seen it before parked in the same parking lot. It's a man that lives in his car. He comes and goes; maybe so as not to draw attention from businesses, people, etc. Hopefully he overcomes Maslow's hierarchy's first step. ;D
Appreciate what you have because there is always someone who is worst off than you. Sadly we forget that.
